Terms of Service of Nepvents

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nepvents platform, website, mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Nepvents ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You may use Nepvents if you are at least 13 years old. There are no strict age restrictions, but users under the age of majority are advised to use the Service under parental or guardian supervision. By using the Service, you affirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

1. To access certain features of Nepvents, you may be required to sign in using third-party authentication via Google OAuth or GitHub OAuth.
2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during authentication and to update your information to keep it accurate.
3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Nepvents will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.

Nepvents is a platform that aggregates and displays technology-related events primarily targeted at students in Nepal. Events listed on the platform are collected from various publicly available sources. Unless explicitly stated, Nepvents is not the organizer or sponsor of the events and does not take responsibility for the conduct, accuracy, or outcome of such events.

• You may not engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of the Service, including but not limited to DDoS attacks, reverse engineering, or exploiting vulnerabilities.
• You must not impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation with Nepvents or any event organizer.
• Creation of misleading, fake, or fraudulent events (when such functionality is available) is strictly prohibited.
• Violation of these terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your access to the Service.

1. By submitting or listing an event on Nepvents, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the organization, execution, and delivery of that event. This includes — but is not limited to — managing registrations, payments, logistics, communication with participants, and handling any disputes or concerns.
2. You agree to respond promptly to inquiries from interested participants and attendees related to your listed event.
3. In the event of a cancellation or material change to your event, you must notify Nepvents and any registered participants without undue delay.
4. You are responsible for handling refunds, if any, in accordance with the refund policy you have defined for your event. Nepvents does not mediate or facilitate payment processing or disputes unless explicitly stated.
5. By listing an event on Nepvents, you grant Nepvents a royalty-free, worldwide license to promote, share, and feature your event across Nepvents website, social media channels, email communications, and partner networks.
6. Nepvents reserves the right to review, modify, reject, or remove any event listing that violates these Terms, community standards, or applicable laws, or is deemed fraudulent, misleading, or inappropriate.
7. Repeated violations or severe misconduct may result in suspension or termination of your ability to list events on the platform.

By using the Service, you consent to receive email communications from Nepvents, including event reminders, updates, and notifications tailored to your preferences. You may configure your notification settings or unsubscribe by contacting us at nepvents@googlegroups.com.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive to maintain the reliability of Nepvents, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we accept no liability for outages, downtimes, or loss of access to the platform.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after the Terms have been updated constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

All content, branding, and intellectual property associated with Nepvents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Nepvents or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

To the fullest extent, Nepvents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal in any legal matter arising out of your use of the Service.
