The Idea Pitching Event, organized as a pre-event of IT MEET 2025, is created to empower aspiring innovators by giving them a platform to present their ideas in front of expert judges. The event focuses on showcasing creativity, validating real-world potential and rewarding standout concepts with attractive cash prizes. Whether your idea is technical or non-technical, this is your chance to make it count.

📍 Venue: NTIC Building, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel
🗓 Date: December 22, 2025
🕘 Time: From 9:30 AM onward

👥 Who Can Participate ?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Team size: Up to 4 members
🎓 Eligibility: Students currently studying in 10+2 or any higher academic program
💡 Idea scope: All types of ideas are accepted including non-technology ideas

📝 What to Include in Your Registration ?

🧠 Main concept: The core problem or vision
💡 Core idea: Your proposed solution or approach
📄 Project description: A short and clear overview of the project

🕒 Competition Structure

Phase 1: Screening

📋 Idea review: Submitted ideas will be evaluated by the screening team
📧 Shortlisting: Selected teams will be notified via email

Phase 2: Final Pitching

🏫 Onsite pitching: Shortlisted teams must attend in person at the venue
📢 Orientation: A brief orientation session before pitching
🎤 Presentation: Each team presents followed by a 5-minute Q&A with judges
📣 Final results: Announced on December 26, 2025

💵 Registration Fee

💳 Standard fee: NRs. 400 per team
🎓 KUCC members: NRs. 300 per team
🔁 Refund policy: Registration fee will be refunded if the team does not qualify for Phase 2

🥇 1st Prize: NRs. 7000
