Software Freedom Day (SFD) is a global celebration dedicated to Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). Every year, communities worldwide come together to promote openness, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

In Nepal, SFD has been celebrated for over two decades, with the Nepal Open Source Klub (NOSK) at the forefront. For 2025, the event goes fully virtual, featuring inspiring talks, beginner-friendly sessions, and a hands-on VS Code Dev Day workshop with AI-powered coding. Whether you’re a student, developer, or just curious about open source, this is your chance to learn, share and connect.
